Cross-industry alliances can gather the strength and knowledge of related field to expand the market.

Committed to promoting the intelligent automation of the food industry, Intelligent Automation Community of Taiwan Food Industry (IACTF) tried to gather experts from other related industries, such as machinery industry and information industry in the community to obtain the resources it needs, and then achieve the goal of expanding inter-industry exchanges. In 2016, with the purpose of “cross-field” and promoting the “smartization” and “automation” of the industry, 40 members from industry, academia and research institutes jointly prepared and established the Taiwan Food Industry Intelligent Automation Association (FIIAAT). An economic business group whose main purpose is to promote related economic business or academic research and development. The business promotion method is to integrate industrial units, talents and technical energy in the fields of electromechanical and information and communication, and establish a cross-field exchange platform for food, intelligence and automation. From the perspective of software and hardware technology improvement, with the promotion of government policies, assisting the traditional food industry to introduce automated process equipment, robotic arms, IOT technology, etc., overcome the problems, and market expansion needs, and assist Taiwan’s food industry to upgrade.
